Zach Heern is the owner and founder of Platypus Media, formerly Customized Marketing Solutions.
Zach Heern has over 10 years of sales and marketing experience. He has worked both as an in-house marketer, and for agencies. He founded Platypus Media because he saw the need for a marketer who provides a boutique experience for small business owners. The digital marketing industry has a tarnished reputation for providing a "vendor-like" experience. He wanted to break that norm and provide a custom experience.
In early-2023, he founded Customized Marketing Solutions, LLC. Zach then re-branded the agency as Platypus Media in the fall of 2024. The new name is more representative of what his agency has evolved into since its inception. Platypus Media has grown from offering only SEO, pay-per-click, and social media marketing to now providing full-service marketing deliverables.
Zach lives with his children in Gainesville, FL. He enjoys traveling, reading, nutrition, and exercise! Zach also hosts a podcast where he talks about health topics and interviews guests in the health and wellness space.
